Designed specifically for the family pet who seems to be getting naughtier

- or perhaps your new rescue dog - this program will take you step-by-step through the vital learning to turn you and your dog from opposing forces to a team!

Choice Training gives you a laser-focussed method of involving your dog in the training so that SHE makes the decisions YOU want - even when you’re not there! This training lasts! You’ll have a dog who knows how to please you and gives you pleasure and companionship for the rest of her life.

There are more than 50 brief videos showing real dogs learning - no trained dog actors here to make you feel demoralised! - short enough to fit into your busy day.

You’ll get rapid change, but it’s not about giving you a quick fix to achieve a SIT. It’s a complete sea-change in how you and your dog relate to each other which means you’ll get LASTING change.

From getting a fast and immediate recall, to teaching your dog to walk nicely on the lead beside you - and the important business of settling your new rescue dog into your home, perhaps with housetraining too - this course is comprehensive and will answer all your questions.

You can progress through the weeks watching just one short video a day - and you'll be amazed at how quickly you can get success. You'll see lots of different (real) dogs learning fast.

There's masses of help for problem-solving, and for all those "what if?" questions. You'll make friends in the friendly private group - and I'm just dying to see photos of your dog!

And the best thing? It's all force-free. There's no need to be hard on your new pet - he'll learn really fast if the games are fun and rewarding.

"We thought that training our older rescue dog might have been quite a challenge! But the positive, engaging approach and fun games were exciting and interesting for both Benji and us. He loves the “Running Name Game" and is learning things we never thought possible - e.g. leaving food alone! The course was an absolute find and is enabling us to enjoy our new little dog to the full. Thank you!

"Since completing Beverley’s course, our Basset Hound Bilbo has come on leaps and bounds.

I was keen to find a trainer whose methods didn’t involve shouting or punishing the dog in any way and Beverley has been fantastic! She has taught us how to manage and improve Bilbo’s behaviour through play.

The methods are simple and thoroughly enjoyable. We now have an extremely well behaved, sociable and happy dog!"

Have you just got a new rescue dog?

Or perhaps your resident pet is getting difficult to manage?

You'll find your answers here, with games that all dogs enjoy - and which craftily teach them to do exactly what you want them to do! No more chewing the furniture, jumping up on visitors, or stealing anything that isn't nailed down. And it's all done by involving your dog in his own learning. I don't want you to do things TO your dog - I want you to do things WITH your dog.

Beverley Courtney

I’ve been training dogs for many years. First for competitive dog sports and over time to be stellar family pets. I found that a force-free approach was by far the most successful, effective, and rewarding for me, my dogs, and my students. It's a fascinating subject and I am continually studying and learning.

Almost ten years of teaching thousands of students in my Puppy and New Dog classes have taught me so much about how the critters learn and develop!

Having to learn how to make life acceptable for my own Growly Dog gave me the tools - and the empathy - to work with hundreds of students who have come to me in despair at their much-loved dog's "aggressive" behaviour.

My style of teaching has been influenced by my students. These dog-owners are not looking for competition-standard training; what they want is a Brilliant Family Dog they can take anywhere. Working with real dogs and their real owners keeps me humble - and resourceful! You could be brilliant at training dogs, but it's no use if you can’t convey this enthusiasm and knowledge to the person the dog has to live with. So I’m grateful for everything my students have taught me about how they learn best.

"Before we met Beverley we had no idea where to go with training our 6 month old German Shepherd Dog Enzo. He was quite dog reactive and this impacted on other areas of his training. He couldn’t concentrate outside of the home environment due to stress, and barked at visitors.

Beverley helped us to begin to manage and tackle Enzo’s reactivity, but also showed us simple techniques that could be done at home to increase his calmness. He is now able to settle on a mat at home, walk nicely on lead most of the time, has a great recall, doesn't jump up at visitors and doesn't try to steal food.

His focus and impulse control have improved massively since implementing what Beverley suggested and so has our bond.

He enjoys all of the short training sessions we do because they are all games to him. It’s great to see my dog choosing to do something because he wants to, rather than me making him! If we hadn't met Beverley we never would have seen Enzo blossom into a dog that loves training, loves to be engaged and focused on us, and especially loves to settle on his mat!

It is so reassuring to know we have a trainer in Beverley who is purely in it for the welfare of the dogs, and to help people and their pets live harmoniously.

I couldn't recommend Beverley more!

"Your training is absolutely brilliant. You make it simple, easy and effective. Still applying it! Snoopy is a brilliant dog and at 15 months amazes people. What you taught me makes it easy to do a little bit every day - which, with an intelligent and active dog - he loves as much as he needs the stimulation. We just got another puppy, Lucy, and am applying the same training again.

I should add they are not perfect, but they are brilliant happy, fun, friendly puppies who love people, adore children and get on well with all animals."
